Beginning March 18, 2020, our main office located at 335 N. 3rd and the office located at 125 N. 10th in Othello, Wa, will be closed to the public until further notice as a proactive measure to decrease the spread of the coronavirus and COVID-19 disease. During this time, staff will be in the office during normal business hours. Our office staff will be doing more contact through phone, email and/or U.S. mail communication to decrease the risk of contact. FY 2021 Annual PHA Plan Public Notice
Section 511 of the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998 (QHWRA) requires that Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) prepare a Five-Year Plan and an Annual Plan. The purpose of these plans is to provide a comprehensive guide to the PHA’s mission for serving the needs of low-income and very low-income families, and the PHA’s strategy for addressing those needs.
The Five-Year Plan describes the PHA’s long-range goals and objectives over the next five years. The Annual Plan provides details about the PHA’s immediate operations, program participants, programs and services, and the PHA’s strategy for addressing operational and resident concerns over the next fiscal year.
As required by the QHWRA, Othello Housing Authority is preparing Annual Plan for Fiscal Year 2021-2022. Along with the required attachments and documents related to the Plan. The Plan and all attachments will be available at the main office located at 335 N. 3rd, Othello, Wa. for review between March 22, 2021 through April 19, 2021.
The Othello Housing Authority will hold a Public Hearing through Zoom on Monday, April 19 at 12:00 p.m., to receive and review comments on the Annual Plan.
